大阪大学は、海外のパートナー大学等と連携し、１大学や１国のみでは対処が困難な地球規模の社会課題の解決を目指し、さまざまな活動を推進しています。具体的には、パートナー大学等との合同の国際シンポジウム、セミナー等の開催や学生・研究者の双方向交流の支援などを通じて共同研究や学生交流を促進し、グローバルな課題解決を目指す国際ネットワークの形成に取り組んでいます。また、国際（社会）情勢の変化により学修・研究活動が困難となった学生・研究者に対する支援も行っています。

In order to contribute to solving ever-intensifying global issues, The University of Osaka is actively working with partner universities overseas. Specifically, we are building international networks to address global issues by promoting joint research and student exchange. Our activities include organizing international symposiums and seminars in collaboration with partner universities, as well as supporting mutual exchange among students and researchers. Additionally, we support students and researchers whose academic or research activities have become challenging due to changes in the international or social environment.

【本事業による取組の例】

・日独6大学アライアンス学長会議

日独6大学アライアンス（HeKKSaGOn German-Japanese University Alliance）は、ハイデルベルク大学、京都大学、カールスルーエ工科大学、東北大学、ゲッティンゲン大学、大阪大学からなる日独二国間の大学ネットワークで、2010年7月に設立され、学生・研究者の交流や共同プログラム等を実施しています。

加盟校の輪番制で学長会議を実施しており、2025年は本学が主催しました。

[Examples of Initiatives Supported by the Global Engagement Project]

- HeKKSaGOn Presidents’ Conference

HeKKSaGOn, a Japan-Germany university consortium consisting of Heidelberg University, Kyoto University, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Tohoku University, The University of Göttingen, and The University of Osaka, was established in 2010 to promote student/researcher exchange and joint programs. Since then, the Presidents’ Conference has been hosted by each member university in turn and The University of Osaka held the 10th conference in 2025.
